Just wanted to put this out there for all of you who may be despairing. Last fall, one of my roses - Pinktopia - had a nasty little cluster of RRD. I’m in my garden pretty regularly and hadn’t seen it before so I knew it must’ve happened recently, and was only in that one area. I cut the branch (as well as the branch from a neighboring bush that was touching it) all the way to the ground in hopes of saving the plant. This spring, it’s all leafed out and looks perfectly healthy. I see absolutely no signs, and I believe I’m in the clear.

There’s just so much sadness and horror stories concerning RRV, that I figured you all could use a little bit of hope. If you catch it quickly, sometimes you can save your rose.
