Start with the art and pull out a vibrant colour to paint the walls.

I would paint the walls an off-white.

I would paint a light neutral with similar pink undertones as the tile, possibly BM Abalone, then a crisp white for doors, trim and vanity. A more tone on tone look will be more keeping with the luxury bath style it is.

What look do you want for the room? do you like a bit of glam?

or a bit of tropical jute texture?

Is some painted ecru creamy beige? if it's different, then make it uniformly white.

I likely read that tiles can be painted, maybe the few accent tiles, near water, but not stepped on.... maybe black/white accessories. My bathroom has had canvas art which is easy to wipe.

Selecting a light color will be hard because of all the various whites that are already in the room. You can select a paint that will contrast the various whites.

You could instead select a greige color .

SW Silver Strand is a gray-green that would look nice in there.

SW Evening Shadow if you’d rather have a gray-blue.

If you really want to pull it forward to 2022, you will need to paint all your cabinetry, too. If you decide to go that way, paint all your trim and cabinetry sw alabaster or sw pure white. The walls I would pick sw mineral deposit, sw magnetic gray, or sw argos.

I would coordinate with your tile so that it doesn't look so pink. You do this by painting the walls something that is similar. Try Benjamin Moore Muslin. I also agree about painting the cabinetry as well.

I love the suggestion from Rho Dodendron to select art first, then paint. How about a gorgeous landscape to gaze at while soaking?
