the first issue is local techs. If there are none it will be a problem. EVERTYTHING breaks and if techs are 300 miles away you will have a problem. There a few ranges out there that everyone loves the looks of but most of them have no local service and scarcity of parts I would stay away from them

What delray said plus you might have an overactive spell corrector --- try searching on "Kucht" rather than "Kutch" and see if you have any better luck finding servicers in your area and reports from recent buyers of those appliances. Also, last time I checked, the Kucht ranges and etc. come from the same manufacturer that makes the NXR and Thor brands of appliances, so might be worth searching on those brands, too.

Great point @delray33483. I called Kucht and asked about service and parts availability. They have a dedicated service person based in my area (SF Bay Area). They said they can generally get someone out to us within a day. Parts are stocked in a warehouse in the state (350 miles away) which is generally overnight via FedEx/UPS, etc.

I would call the areavprovider and ask them they think They may not really work on them or have a bad opinion of them Just because Kucht states they are a provider doesnt make it so Look atvthe Zline posts here to give you anniseabofbsecond tier appliances and the support

How did you find out Kucht is made by the same company that makes NXR and Thor? I looked and the only thing I can find is that they purchase parts from different vendors.

It was years ago, so I no longer recall exactly how I and others tracked Kucht, NXR and Thor back to the Chinese manufacturer, Hyxion Metal Technologies in Dongguan, China. We all all probably found Hyxxion through sites like Alibaba, importgenius, made-in-china, and others, plus some investor news sites that I can no longer recall. Put ".com" on the end of those names to get the websites.

@delray33483 The area provider supposedly is employed by Kucht. They said they have service technicians based in Los Angeles, San Diego and Silicon Valley.

2nd tier doesn't always mean bad. ZLine and Kucht are different companies. ZLine offers a 1-year warranty while Kucht offers a 4-year warranty. Even their websites are vastly different. Whoever wrote Zline's copy felt it was best to explain what's not covered with pictures instead of focusing on what's covered. Just based on that alone, I'd avoid Zline.

I went down a major rabbit hole @jwvideo. Found an easier way to verify - Overstock.com shows the Country of Origin right in the description.

From what I've been able to find out, the parts are bought from various places and then everything is assembled in China.

Is that a bad thing? I know some products made in China are poor quality but the same goes for products made in Italy, Thailand, Vietnam and the US.

@larry Did you end up buying the Kucht range? How do you like it?

Piece of junk.

We had our Kucht serviced 4 times now and it still does not work. Much because they are selling a range that does not live up to the features it is supposed to have. My recommendation is not to buy Kucht, you will only be frustrated and angry.

Trash company run by a trash guy named Nick Ruiz out of NJ. STEER CLEAR unless you enjoy wasting thousands of dollars for terrible appliances
