That bee did a good job. I like the shade of red and the shape of the bee's UF! So Fernstone did win in the race to open first. I like the color of Louisiana Jones! Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful blooms as the season progresses!

Great to see your bloom starting, Kay. I like that bee bloom too. Fern Stone has not scaped here yet, although I would imagine any time. I looked back, last year it bloomed May 15. So excited, it won't bee too much longer.

I think my first bloom last yeat was May 5th so it is early and a lot of plants are very "scaped up" already. Black Fathom Depths has a dozen scapes instead of fie or six. so eager to see what happens this year.

Thank you all for looking. Yes, Debra, Fernstone won as usual here even if it is a dud bloom. I liked the red color on the bee bloom too. No idea where it got it's parents other than suspecting Flames of Haiti is one of them..

Nancy, have you been having any late snows? we are in the 80s now, so spring will last about two weeks probably, then right on into summer.
