Large tree stump removal

After removing literally hundreds of wild trees from around my house (mostly ones that were leaning towards the house or dead), I now have about 20 tree stumps that are too large to dig up or push off with a tractor. The largest stump is roughly 3' in diameter.

The biggest stump grinder that I can rent locally says:

Cutting Wheel: 19.25" diameter to tooth, .750 thick, 18 green teeth

Am I correct in understanding that it can only cut a stump up to 19.25"? If so, it would still be too small for any of these stumps!

Since these stumps are prominent in the front yard, I don't want to wait years for them to rot; I want them gone now so that I can smooth everything out and start planting. Any other suggestions on removal?
