I've been getting packages of daylilies in the mail for the past two weeks, and I wanted to recommend some sellers who really exceeded my expectations with the number of fans sent, terrific root systems, and great bonuses.

Windyhill Daylilies https://windyhilldaylilies.com... is Raymond and Wanda Quinn - terrific folks in North Carolina who are lovely people to deal with. I had been looking for a replacement for Michael Davisson since I lost it in a pot years ago during a bad winter. They sent me multiple fans of a very large size! I also got Calling All Hearts, which was a Browns Ferry intro a few years ago. Raymond sent me a small clump of that and a lovely bonus. Both Quinns hybridize and have lots of wonderful intros too! I didn't take photos of my plants but trust me, they were terrific. The Quinns have lots of cultivars by Davisson, Holmes, and Browns Ferry hybridizers.

The other person I want to recommend is Rocky9 on the Lily Auction. He is Gordon Niedenthal of Dalton, OH. I got Wow Factor, a Nan Wilkerson intro I've been seeking for several years, and Petit's Edge of Tears. The plants were extremely large for a northern seller at this time of year with amazing root systems, and he sent a very nice four-fan bonus. I was glad to find Gordy since my favorite Lily Auction seller, Packrat, retired after his wife, Cindy, died last year.

I also got a generous number of fans from Tim Bell on Lavender Dandelion and Extravagant Love (which immediately scaped), as well as one of the bonuses I requested, Rose Palace.
