Yes. That’s a bedding Salvia and it should bloom all summer. Depending on where you live it’s possible you’ve planted it out a bit early.

If you've got a whole bed of these I would just snip off the whole top and it will sprout new flower stems from lower down.

If you don't mind fiddling and fussing take a look at the flowers, there's a 'tube' sticking out further which is the actual 'petal' of the flower, and when that falls out there's a cup left behind which is the part which will contain any seeds. If you pick off those cups you'll be deadheading yet still have a few colorful parts to look at and new flowers will continue to develop at the top of the flower stalk.

If you haven't already given them a little drink of some type of fertilizer I'd do that as well.

What is your location? If your summer is above 90° every day, you might need something different later on. The type of Salvia in your pic never handles the heat of summer @ my house. There are different Salvia that can keep blooming through the heat, right until frost. Like Salvia coerulea:

I would agree about the ”petering out” of ANNUAL salvia. It’s been my worst performer in the long term. By mid-July, it’s exhausted. I’m not going to buy them anymore. (Disclaimer: I was planting them in pots. I do not have experience with annual salvia in the ground.)

BTW, it’s a good rule of thumb that you should almost always deadhead.
