It depends on the size of the sink. They are called ”workstation” sinks. If you are getting one that is e.g. 30”, then the accessories will be in the way of using your sink. What size will you be getting?

I have a 33" single bowl SS sink with a strainer that straddles the sink, then a cutting board off to the side that sits on the counter...or can straddle the sink. I really like it! I do use it. Nothing is in the way. This one is by Z Line, Ruvati makes a nice one too!

I ordered a 30 inch sink. I have room for a standard, 33 inch (which I currently have, 2 bowl) but it looks SO big on my 79 inch long countertop. I thought a 30 inch might be a good compromise.

with this faucet, the store has it in chrome which I normally like but I ordered it in stainless to see if I like it in stainless.

Remember quality first! 16 gauge SS sink or it sounds tinny and reeks of "cheap" and I have a faucet like that one...only by Grohe. Do not try to save money and just get a look...

We installed this old classic sink a few years ago. I think it dates back to the 1930's, it's an old country style SS sink my wife found on craigslist for a steal. It took me a while to cut it into place and we lost one top draw on the left side and cleared the dishwasher by just 1". But it's a much better sink with it's built-in drainboard sides and wider & deeper tubs.

Most of the SS sinks I was looking at were 18 gauge. I wasn't sure what was better, 16 or 18 gauge. This is a mini mini remodel of my kitchen. painting ugly orange oak cabinets, new countertops, sink/faucet etc till I can get new cabinets down the road so I wasn't looking to buy top choice/dream picks. You know what I mean??

I went with affordable for now with good reviews.
