Coretec: How to install flush stair nose?

Hi all,Has anyone here installed the Flush Stair Nose from Coretec?This is for the Coretec Pro Plus HD Enhanced XL (same line as Ravenswood Oak).Our contractor told us today that he can't install it because there is no locking mechanism. We were supposed to start the stair work tomorrow, so want urgent advice from people here.How did u install the Flush stair nose?
