A few issues:

1. it doesn't appear to be level front to back. That would help to close the gap at the back and reduce the exposure on the front.

2. look at the gas line and power in the back, It needs to line up with the pocket that is provided for that so that the stove can go to the wall. See your installation instructions for the suggested location of the gas supply and electrical.

3. if you have a tip preventer installed, you may need to review that to insure it's not preventing the stove from going flush against the wall.

Ours sticks out as well and is not flush against the wall. For us it had to do with the propane line. We did not notice right away when the range was placed until later on when we went to push the range closer to the wall.

Looks like it will still stick out even if you are able to push it back a little more. Your oven doors open to the side cabinets, if they are flush the cabinets will suffer heat damage. Mine is totally flush but my range construction is different, and the doors have side panels that protect my lower cabinets.

Looks like an amazing range to have fun with! Enjoy, and look into thin stainless strips to cover the sides.
