I think more info is needed to receive the best advice. What is your decor style and what mood do you want to achieve?

I just pulled this photo from your ideabook, which has a similar floor. Does this reflect your taste?

Yes this does reflect my taste. I'm trying to create a tranquil yet sophisticated space. When I've taken style quizzes style comes up as transitional.

Are you looking for some paint suggestions for just this entry area? Are you working with any existing rug or furnishings?

I will be painting the entire house. The house is a blank slate really. It is colonial meditteranean design. High ceilings in the entryway and living room but 8ft ceilings elsewhere. I will be purchasing new lighting, rugs and furniture. I like neutral tones and light blues and greens for color accents.

This room is painted with Benjamin Moore’s Edgecomb Gray. Does this appeal to you?

This is BM Healing Aloe.

Both of the colors recomme ded are beautiful. Thank you.

Your earlier post stating that your house is a colonial Mediterranean and that it is a blank slate would interest the professionals on this site who could offer a lot of suggestions for integrating paint color with all the other choices you’ll be making. You might want to start a new post with a title that would reflect this larger picture. When I googled Colonial Mediterranean I was wowed by some of the gorgeous photos. Your entry is quite stately, and I am eager to see what the professionals would recommend for your whole house.

Thank you so much for this suggestion. This is my first time posting and I wasn't really sure how to go about it.
