Custom is not a synonym for quality. Who installed? And didn’t predrill properly for the hardware? It’s not fatal. It just isn’t pretty. But neither is plywood for drawers instead of solid wood or Blum metal. It’s back yard hobbyist buy parts and assemble them quality if that’s the build level. Average 30K quality. Not 80K high end custom. The big point of concern at that quality level is not the plywood drawers or the bad hardware install. That is minor. The real concern is really the finishing material, application, and quality. What was used for that? Its what gets touched, and has to stand up to wear. Custom is not a synonym for quality.

Back off the hardware, add some filler, spray a clearcoat, and it will be less ugly. It’s not less functional, no matter what. It’s just cheap and low end. Custom is not a synonym for quality. It’s just a lebel to sell sizzle and not steak. You have to do your quality build level due diligence on the front end, a year ago, when you were getting in their line to get something built. The quality should match that of the displays or models you saw. This looks like a bad jr. high shop class project. (Or have they dropped all those classes for gender studies etc.?)
