Nice flowers, I really love the hibiscus! Exciting to get scapes, isn't it? Not so nice to see damage. We have had similar temps here, I have seen something similar here, but only on 2 or 3 plants. I don't think we have hit 90 though, mostly mid 80s.

I love the hibiscus and the iris, but that clematis is a beauty. Love the color, Nancy.. Roses with scents are beyond compare! Love it. Some of mine have treal damage from frost too. The scapes and blooms have been fine, but the foilage especially on some of them is ratty.

I like the iris colors and what a great story about the hisbiscus-44 years is a long time to have a plant! And it’s so pretty too!! Hope your foliage bounces back-that’s a bummer. And yay for scapes!!

I like the rose scent and the rugosa foliage. Earlier, there was a lot of brown daylily foliage here (from freezes), but plants are quite lush right now. Your plants look as though they have some reaction to the spray, but will probably bounce back quickly.

A lot of the foliage on my daylilies is damaged, and I haven't sprayed anything yet. For me, I think it's the lack of rain. We have not gotten enough rain in the last four weeks ( fourth of an inch or less per week), and I just started using the hose last week. I think it's going to be a quick season here since the lack of rain will result in a much lower bud count than normal. We've already had temps in the 90s, and the rest of this week is forecast to be in the 90s with very little chance of rain.

That is a great Iris! The clematis is very pretty too. Sorry to read about your foliage issue. Hopefully it is just weather related.

I agree that the daylily foliage will bounce back. Love the rose photo and glad to hear your scapes are starting. We are suppose to go to 90 by Friday. 80 here now but we do have a nice breeze.

Pretty blooms…….have had some foliage damage here. im guessing the cold temps are to blame
