Paint Design Dilemma Bedroom

Paint and curtain colors

I just bought a beautiful black paisley duvet set. I'm lost on what's good wall colors and curtain colors because I really just liked the duvet pattern - it wasn't a "I am a dark person" choice. What can I do about the walls and curtains without making my bedroom look Goth? I would also prefer blackout curtains but it's not a dealbreaker. Thanks again!

Can you provide a picture of duvet, to see the shades and style, will you be using decorative cushions and what color are they? What is your furniture and flooring like? Finally, are you leaning towards dark or light, strong or neutral shades? Lots to consider before being able to give advice.

keep the paint very lightn actually white, and let the bedding be the star.

layer the window coverings, textured Shades and Solid Light Drapery panels.
