The top use to have leaves but died how can i save this

Probably a Dracena marginata, a common houseplant. The picture shows a bit of green at the bottom--is that the same plant? If so, cut the long stem down to within an inch of the new growth. If it is in a dark corner, it probably is in the process of dying. Move it to a brighter (but not direct sun) spon, give it some water (unless its soil is already wet), and it should come back nicely.

I get more of a Cordyline vibe from this, but that doesn't change the appropriateness of what Johnsaunt said, agree with that. Hopefully it doesn't look like this because the soil is wet. Too dry is much more promising.

In the future, please don't put baby in a corner. ;)
