Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Frameless shower with a frame?

I just went by my project and they have installed the glass showers. I had requested frameless showers with metal tabs not frames. What has been installed is both. The bottoms are all framed and only the sides are frameless with tabs. I’m so disappointed as it’s not the clean look I expected. Is “frameless”actually not completely frameless? The only frameless showers I see posted now are completely frameless with tabs on the sides and bottoms.

I will post pictures when I go back tomorrow. I ran out of there so upset I never took photos!

I will have the same in mine. Reason is that the door is in the middle of a glass wall so needs the support. Purely frameless is better looking and what I thought I would get originally, but the rim is above eye level so it’s not glaring.

Sounds like clips on the sides and channel top and bottom which would still be considered "frameless". I could be mistaken of course so please post up pictures so we can help you.
