I never dreamed when I moved and left behind my established hedge/thicket that finding new Blackthorn would be so difficult! Now I am desperately trying to find a source but it doesn't seem to be available commercially in the States. I've ordered some seeds but reading about the long and complicated process to break dormancy is daunting. Hoping to get some cuttings, since I have experience and good luck rooting those of woody species, or plants/suckers bare root or otherwise. As I said, I have moved so I have very little material and nothing really to trade. However, I'm willing to purchase for you something on your want list or from some other source and have it sent to you if you can trade me the cuttings or plants I'm asking for.
