Plumbing Bathrooms

Toilet Replacement

I need to remove a toilet for a couple of days in order to do some floor repairs. Will flushing a toilet in the adjacent bathroom cause a backflow and flood the first bathroom without a toilet? I just need to know if it's safe to use the other bathroom as normal while the first toilet is out.

Not a problem. You do want to cover the hole to prevent sewer gas escaping and to prevent foreign objects going down.
