You might be able to mask a brush pile with vines. Many vines are good as ramblers, but most will also prefer at least partial sun. Many Clematis varieties only grow 6-8 feet and are hardy to zone 4a. Coral Honeysuckle is also hardy to zone 4a and can grow 12-16 feet. Maypop or Passion Vine is hardy to zone 5b and gets just as large. Of course, annual vines will give you quicker coverage. Be sure to talk with your neighbor about this first. If approved, place the vines on your side of the pile.

If your Adirondack chairs are in sad shape you either need to revitalize them by cleaning and painting. Or, you need to replace them. Don't get lost in trying to do every area at the same time. Concentrate on one area or one project. Keep in mind that plants take time to grow. If privacy is paramount, consider a decorative outdoor SCREEN or trellis placed on or between in-ground posts.
