Primary Bathroom Floorplan help

We are about to fully gut and redo our primary bathroom. There's currently no door between the bed and bathroom(!), carpet, and glass bricks that have to go. It's roughly 17 x 12 ft, and a lot of unused space. Open to changing location of plumbing to make it more functional. Some questions- do we use some of the space for WICs? See Floorplan mock up- I'm envisioning a walkthrough (with doors ro keep out moisture). Am I missing a trick - should we aim for a toilet room? Move up the laundry machines from the basement? All ideas welcome! Must-haves are a double vanity, some storage area, toilet, and shower(could do a combo, or a tub separately depending on idea).

One mock up (I added the walls - the foot print is the entire larger rectangle)

The space is not quite big enough for two walk-in closets. Are there already closets in the bedroom?
Laundry that’s not in the basement would be my choice!

Why do you need/want the double doors? On a bathroom, they don't seem to provide as much privacy as a single.

Original thought was allow to some natural light into the closet area but see your point!

What is to the right of the bathroom? Are the windows fixed. Can doors be moved?

Is this your only closet.

We have a recently added master bath and I am a big fan of the toilet room (w/pocket door) - provides just a touch of privacy and separation when both of us are getting ready for bed/brushing teeth -

Unless you have an avid bather - I would opt for just a lovely shower, maybe the smaller bath footprint would enable you a layout to get a window in the closet and in the bath?

We added a skylight in our bath at the last minute and it's a wonderful source of natural light

@Karenseb nothing is to the right of the bathroom (was an addition to back of house)- could add a window! Main door from bedroom is likely tough to move since it was the original exterior wall of the house/plumbing to the left of it.
