If you use a high flow filter, a bar faucet will work.

I would look at a10" Big Blue filter housing and carbon filter for taste and odor.

This setup will filter at 2 gallons per minute - enough to provide regular flow through your faucet - rather than a small flow that you would get from a beverage faucet.

It's rated at >22,000 gallons - but you will want to replace the cartridge once a year. The cartridges are $40.

I'm a 26 year veteran Plumber. I highly recommend any faucet you put In is Delta. They are the best out there and have been for I know 26 years. As far as easy installation and superb quality at a reasonable price. You can use an under counter filter and a bar sink type faucet

We're adding a small bar sink in the dining room and want just one bar faucet there which will primarily be used for drinking water/coffee prep etc. What did you end up using?
