That Batik is probably the prettiest display of iris I have seen. How wonderful! The clematis are looking good, names or no names! Your spring is rapidly progressing into daylilies soon!!!

Clematis are lovely. I use to grow Lupine in NY and yours is very pretty. Mine were more bluish with a bit of white and they self seeded and spread year after year.

I've tried off and on for 30 plus years to grow Lupines. They are one of my favorite flowers - unfortunately for me only in others gardens. The foliage looks wonderful right up until the time our heat and humidity strike and then, pooft, it almost collapses overnight. I had a friend of mine in a cooler environment try them and hers failed too. I think it's one of those plants that's like the girl with the curl in the rhyme. When it's good (for you) it's very very good and when it's bad (for me) it's horrid...........Batik is simply wonderful..............Maryl

Your Batil looks so nice! None of my Kasperik broken color iris bloomed this year. I always enjoy them. I used to grow lupine, they reseeded several years, then died out. I have not been able to get them going again

Lupine do not like this warmer humid climate. But I like them.

We will see how the lupine does in my garden. Just hoping it survives the summer

Batik and the clematises look wonderful. Lupines won't grow here. I love the blue ones like Julia shows.
