Ready for the second act

My season always starts with Middendorffii, followed by Dumortierii then Clementella, which is now in full swing. Many other cultivars have scapes and buds, so the days ahead should be pretty exciting. Here is Clementella on her first day of blooming (5/25). Sorry for the fuzzy photo. Even though I am a software engineer, that's on old technology, and the new stuff (especially my phone!) sometimes gives me grief!

New technology? I'm still happy with a land line. I think your shot with a "phone" is nifty. I was thinking the other day how many of the early blooms seem to be yellow. Must be the offshoot in hybridizing from some of the older ones such as yours. Here's to many more to come Dave.......Maryl

It does seem like those extra early ones are yellow, but that just gets you revved up for the others.

I agree that you have so many buds yet to open. Looking forward to seeing more of what is blooming in your garden.
