I recently tried my hand at putting up a kitchen backsplash and it went pretty well! I am a little stuck now with how to finish the rough tile edges that come up to adjacent cabinets. I added one line caulk but it has shrunken a little and the rough edge of the tiles are still visible. I believe it would be appropriate to use painters tape to define a clear line near the edge of the tiles and then add a second layer of caulk that would actually cover the rough tile edge but wanted to ask if anyone else had experience doing this?
