in these with wood and black they used a pretty crisp clean white. might be best. when you say "what I am looking for" why dont you provide an inspiration picture. the first pic is great the way the white plays up both the black and wood and gorgeous floor. creamy ivory or whatever you had in your mind, i'm not sure would be as good.

I’m just not a fan of stark white. It looks too sterile and too “farmhouse” which neither is my style. I’ll try to furnish some pics. I like warmth. It’s a mountain home think lots of stained wood, beams, Brown cabinets, black cabinets, leather, browns, tans and blacks. A lodge look is best way to describe it. They doesn’t fit with stark white walls.

for all the elements in the space seems the walls arent going to be a feature. there are many whites.....neutral cool and warm for the walls. but the question is about the counters......best thing is to get samples within the price range of a product you desire....have you looked at granite availability locally. how many sq feet of counter.....you say its a condo....usually its not a great amount.....an interesting granite might hold the right balance of looks with it also being stone.
