I meant maybe I could change the coffee table, or not use one at all..

I've been liking this style. And adding a rug like this might be nice.

Do add a rug. Wall art (posters or maps are good--I especially like accurate world maps in kid households) will liven things up.

I like your current coffee table. It's very practical for a busy household and a good size and shape. I'd go for a rug first and then reevaluate the table.

The table is very practical. The kids can sit on the floor and do puzzles and legos on it.

Table also goes with the TV stand, right? Make sure the new rug plays well with it. The kids will like a rug.

Now, explain how you get the kids to clean up the Legos and puzzles. :)

Yes they kinda go together, but I'm not loving the TV stand. I'd be willing to change it if I had an idea that I really loved.

About cleaning up... it's actually something I'm working on! I'm still trying to find the magic way to get them to do it without whining tears, consequences, bribes, tears and so on. ὠ5

The cube piece didn’t come with a back to finish it off? If not, put something white on the back of the open cubes to finish it and prevent you from seeing through to the wall and cords hanging down. That would help it a lot.

It didn't. I was thinking the same thing. I do t know what to put in the empty cubes after that though. Any ideas?

You can also tie the electric cords together and velcro them out of sight on the back of the frame. Inside the empty cubes you could put books, magazines, pottery.
