Name That Plant!Garden

Hello all,

About 4 years ago, I planted 4 o’clocks seeds in my front yard and I loved them until the following year when I saw them everywhere. I pulled them all up but still saw some seedlings coming up. This year, I found seedlings in my backyard, about 50 feet away. How can that be? Anyone?

A combination of very high seed production and helpers in the form of birds and other wildlife spreading them around.

And if there are heavy rains, that can wash leaf litter/mulch and fallen seeds into other areas as well.

the rather large hand grenade looking seeds are favored by the larger birds all winter long .. and im sure they carry them where ever they may fly ...

I didn't know birds ate the seeds. They never seem to do so here.
