The deer were back last night. Luckily they just sampled a few and left. I was sorry they got Billy the Kidd, who was ready for his ffo today.

Mystical Intuition had much richer colors after Wednesday's rain.

Applique' duo

Ghost Gifts trio - no ghosts today, but looking lavender blue instead of lavender purple.

And now for the seedlings. The first two are FFEs.

White Tooth x Skater 5 - This was the best out of three sibs that opened for the first time ever today.

Core Values X Bowtie Affair

Dancing Flamingo X a UF #1 - This one first bloomed last year. It's multiplied well, and the blooms are 8 inches on these first flower.

Carolina Pale Face X Dearest Valentine #2 is larger and rounder this year. It's gone from a 6 inch bloom last year to a 7 inch bloom now.

Maryl - I crossed Stenciled Infusion and Ghost Gifts yesterday. I hope I get a seed pod!

Ghost Gifts is so pretty in that trio. Do all those buds belong to Applique? If not, something is very well budded!! Seedlings are looking good-I was prepared to give my vote to the first one until I saw the color on the Dancing Flamingo seedling. Just so striking!

Whether Ghost Gifts has the ghost or not it still looks good. All are lovely. Core Values X Bowtie Affair I can't decide if I like the cream/yellowy color but it does go well with the eye pattern color.

All I can say is WOW! Just one after another, are are beautiful. Love the blues, your seedlings are all nice, gorgeous color on the Dancing Flmingo kid, and the Core Values kid has a nice looking pattern. Carolina Pale Face kid must be a looker at that size.

What a cool pattern on Core Value X Bow Tie Affair. It appears Applique is going to have a show off season with all those buds! It’s good to see one of your Dearest Valentine white babies again…..I remember I had a favorite, not sure if this is the one. Love the Skater baby, great first bloom.

Kate and Sherry - Yes, all those buds belong to Applique. It is not very well budded this year, but it has 12 or 13 scapes. I think the best scape has 13 or 14 buds. Most of the scapes have about 10.

Sherry - I think this is the near white you liked best last season of the Carolina Pale Face x Dearest Valentine kids. It had a bit of a pink blush today. Thanks for the comments on the other seedlings!

Nancy and Kate - I agree with you about the gorgeous color on the Dancing Flamingo seedling.

Julia - In person the Core Values seedling looks really pretty with the cream yellow petals and the purple patterned eye. I'm very pleased with it.
