We had hardy board siding installed, and not sure what I was thinking when I mentioned I wanted narrow window trim, but I now hate it. We are getting ready to paint and the narrow window trim just makes the accent color (cream) look like highlighter around window. Before I spend lots of $$ redoing window casing figured I would come here for any insight.
I thought of possibly painting soffit/fascia same color as siding for a more modern look to make black windows pop, but husband is not crazy about that as issues can arise having aluminum/vinyl painted.
I am attaching pictures but for reference the fascia/soffit is a cream color and I am painting the house green. Would it look crazy to only paint the corner pieces cream and match window trim to siding? Afraid it would not look coordinated. I am also adding picture of what my inspiration is although I know it’s not totally doable with current trim. Thanks!
