if each floor tile is 12 or 14 inches looks like you could run a second area off left of window, opposite the back wall, to make a small galley...48 to 54 inches ?? with a couple stacks of generous drawers and counter....maybe overhang with a couple stools if you want . Drawers like that would be a big benefit..even if you dont cook much you can store apartment supplies of other sorts ...and if you have someone over occas the bit of overhang and counter even to set out snacks and lite "brought in" meals might be appreciated. Depends on what you want.

You're showing one view What is at the end where you took the picture?? Measure the space which we assume is about seven and a half feet wide. How long is it? What's at the end? A dining or living space ? How many inches of wall left of that window? How many inches right of the doorway where the light switch is?

You have to help yourself.....just a little.....

Try a rolling cart.
