We did not get any here yesterday, but need a break after what we got. Supposed to rain again later today, then again Friday. Makes pulling weeds a lot easier, which is good because there are lots more weeds suddenly with the rain.

Wow, your pictures are just bam, bam, bam! Gorgeous. Beautiful clumps. The singles are all lovely, but my favorite is Bluegrass Shadows. Love the 1st 2 seedlings, such nice colors.

I think I got your 2 inches of rain last night which I needed. I have been under a bowl for a couple of weeks while rain went everywhere around me. The Core Values and Applique clumps are so pretty. Is that a seedling bed behind Applique? I still love the color of the Dancing Flamingo seedling. Glad you are going to introduce it. I agree about the Perseus' Sandals seedlings in that it would probably be a favorite of mine as well. Is it as large as it looks?

Nancy - I'm thankful to get even a bit of rain. On Monday the ground was so dry, pulling weeds was nearly impossible. Now it will be much easier. I was so glad to see an almost clean flower on Bluegrass Shadows. It's a shame that now it's shaping up there are so few buds left. It usually reblooms though.

Kate - Yes that is a seedling bed behind Applique'. It used to have registered daylilies, but I moved them all out so I would have another seedling bed. Unfortunately about half of the seedlings I planted last fall died in it. We had a mild winter, so it must have been too many wood pieces in the raised bed soil that rotted them. I will fill in soon with seedlings waiting to be planted in cups.

Everything about the Dancing Flamingo seedling is good, except it won't set seed. But its pollen is highly potent, and I have crossed with nearly all the pinks I own. There are several babies from it in the seedling bed in back of Applique'.

The Perseus' Sandals seedling has a 10 inch bloom on a 40 inch scape. It is one of the few daylilies here that has the same bud count as last year, despite the lack of rain. So it's either very drought tolerant, or would have had many more buds this year had there been rain.

A beautiful group! Rosie Cotton's Ribbons is looking good. I also like Core Values and Bluegrass Shadows. Your seedlings are luscious. I can see why you like the Dancing Flamingos seedling. I love the color. I also like the Perseus' Sandals seedling--big with tall scape--a winning combination. You know how I feel about the red and white one and the White Tooth seedling is nice too. I hope it gets more teeth as it gets hotter.

Love the Perseus Sandal and the Dancing Flamingo seedlings……such big blooms! You have some great clump shots today and happy the rain didnt spoil the blooms. Had the same rain here the past few days.

Bluegrass Shadows is very pretty, Applique is outstanding. Seedling Dancing Flamingo X Bubblegum Delicious is definitely my pick of the seedlings though all are beautiful. That is a nice size too.
