Hello! I bought a new home last fall and want to spruce up the backyard. It is flat, about 100’ x 105’, and lacks privacy. I’m located in the Minneapolis area of Minnesota. I attached a diagram and photos of how looks currently. I’d like to add a patio on the right side of the screened in porch next to the house, as well as a separate fire pit seating area (more towards the back of the yard). I’d also like a storage shed and small vegetable garden. Mainly I’d like to add privacy/visual edge between our home and the neighbors in the back as well as on the right side (below the cedars it is quite open and their deck would be right near our future desired patio area). Any ideas on privacy plantings in an open space without a fence would be desired!
