You have a modern table and chairs with an antique looking light fixture that is hung too high. Also you need some COLOR!

I love this look and color is great. You can cover floor with rug and bring some wall art and center piece.

I don't think the table was meant to have 6 chairs around it - you can see that with the side and end chairs are touching when pushed in. Just think when it's knees...

Chandelier needs to beefed up as well

Celery nailed it again! Beautiful space!

You need something to visually draw your eye to that space. As it is now or in the rendering your gaze glosses right by the room. A bit of color and drama please.

The light fixture blends in too much, maybe try a black fixture to catch ones eye. i also agree, two chairs per side appear cramped, can you take two away and see how that looks?

Have you ever tried the table turned the other way?

Thanks so much everyone!! I think I am going to get a rug, put art work on the wall, try taking out 2 of the chairs and maybe see how the table looks turned the other way around. I was also thinking of maybe painting the legs of the chandelier a bit darker color? I would hate having to get a new one since we but this one a couple months ago.

I would try other decorative changes first before painting chandelier, especially if it’s new. i do think you need some black to give the eye something to catch it. Try the black candle sticks as was suggested above or black framed art.

I would consider just painting the arms of the chandelier bronze with a sponge brush, she is just a little lost. that would give her some more presence.
