You can do white outside and black inside, I believe, or vice versa. Or bronze.

Go with black as it is trendy.

What do you like better? What style is the home? Either can be time-less.

At worst, white can look cheap and get dirty easily, and black can be used in the wrong application and be crapped on for being trendy, when those same folks were setting said trends a year or two earlier. Not directed at anyone specific, just an observation.

If home is intended as long term, definitely white. White can virtually go with any house colors and black will be limiting. FYI, I have bronze (not black but still a dark color) clad windows so speaking from experience.

One thing I’ve noticed about the homes in my neighborhood that have black windows is that any window covering you use kind of destroys the illusion (since most windows covering linings are white). When we build in a few years, I’ve already decided I’m going with white for this reason.

I wouldn't choose white. Most companies offer a ramge of colors to blend the window frames with the other colors you're using on the exterior. Black is one of a lot of options.
