hostas that do well in zone 10?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experience with hostas that flourish in zone 10? I have tried many through the years and the only one that is successful is halcyon. The others don’t die right away. They come back every year but never seem to get bigger and the eventually after a couple years they are gone. But halcyon looks great and I hardly even think about it. I love it but wanted some more variety. I would love some chartreuse. Or white variegation

Are there any tricks to getting hostas to do better in warmer zones like putting ice on the ground in the winter? Is that a bad idea?
