Furniture Design Dilemma Bedroom

Anyone have Pottery Barn Cayman upholstered bed?

We are purchasing a Beautyrest 14.5" mattress and are looking for an upholstered bed that does not require a box spring. On this bed, the mattress would sit at 25.5" high leaving 21" of headboard. Can't decide if these measurements are good. This is the area, so with the board and batten wall, seems we need something simple. Thanks for feedback!

Pottery Barn upholstered Cayman bed

The mattress sits at 11", so would be 25.5". Headboard is 46.5".

Also thinking about the West Elm Andes bed, but with the higher headboard.

These show 46" headboard and 58" headboard on the wall with fabric. The Andes bed will sit close to the current bed. The Cayman bed will sit lower at about 2".

My concern is that 46" headboard in both cases is low due to the height of the mattress.
