I believe so. My neighbor said the blooms are fragrant white.

Plantaginea does have fragrant very large blooms. The blooms open only later in the day. But I recall from Bob Solberg himself that plantaginea is one hosta that can actually be grown in the home and does not require a dormant period!

Congrats Maria! My Plantaginea died on me……perhaps I should have brought it indoors for the winter…….the flowers are supposed to be very fragrant late in the day as NHL said.

So far, so good. It’s loving the balcony. I’m going to acclimate it to the open atrium / gallery, where it will receive a little more sun.
