Yes you have a MAC! Super wonderful. Where are you located? Do you have a picture of the entire plant? I am trying to train one to my 2 story balcony and not sure I will be able to since I am in a zone 7 where it may get too cold for her to get massive like I need.

I live in England (London). I gave it a trim in the spring from upstairs with long clippers as it was on the roof! It’s very bushy near the top due to lack of pruning and training that high up. I need to get up there with a ladder and take thw depth off it and train the thicker stems at the top. It’s nice having a fragrant rose that high as you can pull them towards you from the bedroom windows to smell 😂

Gorgeous Alfie, you lucked out. I wish I would have inherited such a beauty and fully grown to boot. Sorry I remembered you were in England after I posted. Roses seem to do exceptionally well on your side of the world, I love it.

Yeh previous owners were keen gardners who lived here for 20 years so very lucky indeed. It’s what inspired me to get into gardening actually as I didn’t want to neglect all these nice established plants. Thanks for your help and kind comments. Good luck with your MAC.
