Hi. I think I’d just put lights going down in the bar cabinets ( if the shelves are glass in there). I wouldn’t worry about lighting the others unless you have some incredible art pieces…not sure how lighting up helps much. Have found any examples of up lighting that you like?

mmm what do you mean with shelves being glass? they are wooden shelves. See pic below of LED below the shelf pointing down. I am now inquiring if I can have on the same shelf an LED below pointing down and one above pointing up.

The right part of the bar is decided, it has vertical LED behind the glass doors, downward LED below that, and two LED can lights in the two spaces without doors. What I am deciding are the shelves on the left of the bar, circled below, and the shelves on the fireplace

Lighting up the stone countertop below will look good. Even plain bottles look good when lightened up, see below.

Those shelves do not need lights, You are not lighting up a bar, you would be lighting books and trinkets. I would put them inside the bar cabinet.
