Post a to scale floor plan make sure all measurements can be read and ideally in imperial not metric . Also good to give us some idea of the renters you are aiming this space at .I find singles are okay without DR if they have some seating at the counter .Post the floor plan of the whole suite too.

I'd want a chaise sofa with a large ottaman to move in place as needed. Skip the table and counter seating. Make all covers removable and washable. I'd want a washer and dryer. No to double sink. DW and 24"" undermount sink. All drawers for lowers All frameless.

@dan1888 washer/dryer is already there as we have windows and cant do upper cabinet, probably better to create more cabinet space i agree downsizing sink

how about kichen island by 24 depth only to fit cabinet? and no seating?

You plan that you drew on looks nothing like the floor plan you posted. our plan looks like the stove is against the wall. That is horrible. I would skip the peninsula and do an L shape kitchen to get the stove off that corner. That will give you some more storage. The renters can get their own table or not - their choice.

Red area is space for couch and tv if I go with penninsula..

Is this already "built"? There are no windows in the living room area. I would have put the kitchen on that side and then have the living room where the windows are - not sure if that is something you would consider.

Or if you wanted more counter space, move the ref to the right of the entry door with a counter next to it. The shallow pantries have to just be enough for the door to open, thne you can go to full depth cabinets.

I would get with a kitchen designer and have them layout the entire room for you - kitchen and living room.

The bathroom door is in the hallway so not a big deal.

No to the first plan because the stove on the end is dangerous.

No to a 33" lazy susan cabinet. The opening is small and not the best of storage. A 36" is always better.

I have no issue with a corner sink but many designers are against it. It doesn't work well here anyway because of the dw placement.

Keep playing with it. And have you kitchen design put it in a 3d rendering for you to see if you like it.

The problem is ease of use. When you open the dw door, you can't stand at the sink to unload it. There needs to be a cabinet in between the dw and the sink base.

Your kitchen designer will go through all of this with you.
