Blooms on Saturday

The flowers look a bit better today. It was overcast all morning and the temperatures weren't too bad so I got a lot of photos.

As you might imagine, Bob really likes this one. I must admit that it is very pretty. It is Canyon Lullaby.

Empire of Dawn and Dusk's petal color is nice and clean.

I am not really a fan of the color on Flamingo Carousel, which is duller than this picture shows.

I Lava You had its ffo today. It is a monster of a plant. I can't wait to see more flowers at once.

Leo Bordeleau produces some lovely flowers.

Little Rainbow was one of the first daylilies we purchased. I love the polychrome colors.

Little Tutu is a tiny double.

I love the colors on Siloam Shocker.

On Your Knees You Will Find Him is a beautiful daylily, but it won't set seeds for me. The pollen is good though.

The Bride of Dracula is one of our favorites.

It was a good day for seedlings.

There were several red or orange toothy seedlings blooming today. This is Love All Serve All X (Sea of Cinders X Happy Holidays to You)

This is a sibling to the first.

This is a half sibling--Love All Serve All X On Your Knees You Will Find Him.

There were some interesting small-flowered diploid seedlings. This is Itsy Bitsy Spider X Indelible Blood. I didn't expect a stippled one.

This small-flowered dip is Galaxy Explosion X Pixie Dragon

Miracles Have Messages X Call off the Search is showing a pleated throat. today.

We were happy to see this one bloom. It is Pineapple Bites X The Bride of Dracula.

Some nice seedlings today, cloudy and cooler gor a change helps. My favorite seedling today is the first Love All Serve All seedling, nice rich color with a mid rib. The stippled Itsy Bitsy Spider seedling is interesting, hope you post more of it. I Lava You is great…..hope to see more of it and how it does for you.

I like Canyon Lullaby too. Bride of Dracula is really pretty in a clump. I Lava You is a fun plant, and I really like it. I particularly like all of the first three seedlings. They are really pretty!

Lots of interesting seedlings. Was this an early morning pic, as The Bride of Dracula looks rather trumpet shaped? I Lava You is striking, but no room for monsters here.

Canyon Lullaby looks like one you could see a mile awsy! Leo Bordeleau has quite an edge! Lots of different kinds of seedlings! The Galaxy Explosion seedling may be small but it is quite the bloom.

Canyon Lullaby is a lovely orange, and I always like Empire of Dusk and Dawn. My favorites among the seedlings are Love All Serve All X On Your Knees You Will Find Him, Miracles Have Messages X Call off the Search and the Pineapple Bites kid.

Mantis, I took the photo of The Bride of Dracula around 9 am, but I would say it is a typical look for it.
