I spotted my first ones earlier this week as they were all over an ABSOLUTE RIPPER bloom. After I knocked them off, I haven't anymore.

A couple showed up but looks to be another light year. The JBs we have around here don't bother daylilies thankfully. Too many other goodies I guess.

Deer and Japanese Beetles - People who have each or both get my sympathy. They say that JB's have made it as far west as Tulsa, but I've never seen one. I pray to keep it that way............Maryl

I've only seen two Japanese Beetles so far, and I killed one of those. I have seen flowers and leaves that look like they were eaten by JBs though. I'm bracing for the Junebugs. Sometimes they're July bugs.

I think my Japanese beetles cluster on the wild Grape Vine at the back of my property. I went back there and it was covered, but have not seen but a couple in the garden. I need to go back and spray the beetles...

We have seen a few this year. The June bugs are out too. Normally, the Japanese Beetles and the June bugs eat all of our early peaches, but we don't have many peaches this year.

By the way, they love wild grape vines.
