Second compare to mullein?

I don't think any of the weeds mentioned above are poisonous either...?

Here is a closer look. I think in the heat between yesterday and today, the seeds let loose. Although, as I said these pods looked yellow yesterday. The leaf is more long spade shaped. Rather than what we see on dandelion.

Rumex is correct genus ID for bottom image with R. crispus being the most likely species simply due to how common it is. The leaf pic is not especially helpful, unfortunately. Canadian horseweed is also correct for top pic - Erigeron canadiensis.

Christopher, I think you have a lot of open land if I recall from posts I have seen. You can probably afford to have any menacing weeds you want…….they are probably good for pollinators. I did not mean to offend you or anyone. I have very small yard and really can't afford plants that re-seed like these. Anything that is in that "dock" family I know is difficult to get rid of.

No offense taken and vice versa. I was just musing on weeds. Weeds are one thing I know well.

And yes, my garden pulses with insect and bird life. My plants are the food that sustains it all.
