I love Mister Mayor, it did great last year and rebloomed nicely. It had grown to 6 fans and I promised 2 to a friend in the spring. Unfortunately, by spring grass roots had invaded and it was only 3 fans. I now only have 1 fan, but it looks good. I also have Make it Snappy which looks similar to me, and has done even better. Boys Night Out has been another superb Davisson as far as blooming habit. Not as pretty to my eye as the previous 2. So Irresistable is gorgeous. Rainbow Maker has been doing really well here, just put up 2 rebloom scapes. Nice branching on it, I am really pleased with that one.

Nancy - It's too bad those grass roots got to your Mister Mayor. I've been very pleased with how mine has multiplied from one fan to six in just three seasons. It has never rebloomed for me though. Make It Snappy is really a pretty one, and I would like to add it in the future. The only Davisson I have with a better plant habit than MM is Miss Goldie Gold Digger. I'm glad to know Rainbow Maker is doing well for you. It multiplies like crazy here, and has rebloomed for the past three years.

It's amazing what a good rain will do for the daylilies! They all look lovely. Melee and your big pink seedling are my picks today. I love North Wind Dancer but I sort of hate to see it because it reminds me that the daylily season is flying by.

White Ambrosia, Empire of Desire and your Dancing Flamingo seedling are my favorites today. The edge on White Ambrosia is fantastic and I like the colors on Dancing Flamingo seedling....................Maryl

So Irresistible is indeed just that, Love the ruffles on White Ambrosia. Big Pink seedling looks wonderful. Mister Mayor looked good in my garden this year as well. My Davisson vote this year for best in my garden goes to Royal Girls and Mean Green. They have both multiplied and bloomed like crazy.

Love the photo of North Wind Dancer, such a pretty bloom…….it likes your garden. I always enjoy seeing the seedlings, never tire of that. White Ambrosia could be my favorite registered today, love the ruffles.

Nan - Yes, North Wind Dancer is a harbinger for the end of the season. It really has flown by!

Maryl - I do love that edge on White Ambrosia, and I like that it blooms later in the season when all my other whites are finished.

I really like Mr. Mayor too, but I'm not sure what my favorite Davisson is. Yours looks lovely with the three blooms. Rainbow Maker is showing off nicely. White Ambrosia is lovely. Melee is a very pretty red and Sun Temple Spirit is such a pretty yellow one. Sad to see "Big Pink" finish blooming, All of the Dancing Flamingo seedlings are lovely.

Catching up and I like your seedling Dancing Flamingo X Hannah Marie. The way the eye(?) comes all the way out before the color changes. White Ambrosia is quite white. Wow, nice ruffles on that one.So Irresistible is perfect. Nice group.

Will see what Mister Mayor looks like this year. In the past, its very upward-facing blooming habit has put it in the lower tier of Davissons, but that's an elevated group to begin with.

Mantis - I guess I like upward facing blooms. I'm just thrilled that Mister Mayor multiplies like crazy and is the registered height this year. Some of my Davissons are short most years. Reckless Girls, Confessions of a Hemaholic. Miss Demeanor and High Water Mark are always quite a bit shorter than registered, although they can be very well budded.
