4th of July blooms

It's really heating up here again. It's supposed to be 99 tomorrow and the humidity has come back up. But with the little rain and Bob's watering, the daylilies look pretty good this morning.

Tropical Tease is looking good.

I am not sure why Bob bought Buckskin Tales. It's quite large but it's not my kind of daylily.

This is Halloween Dragon with Rose F. Kennedy looking over its shoulder.

I had always wanted Raspberry Suede. I found it this year at a local garden center. It really is a lovely color.

Reindeer Antlers just started blooming.

Rosy Spiketail has been here for many years and is finally looking good.

I wish Snarl was a bit taller. It is a rather unique bloom.

Terrorsaur has not managed to get to registered height or size yet.

Here are a few seedlings blooming today.

Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Rosy Spiketail looks a little pinker than normal today. It's usually more red.

There is something very interesting going on in the eye of this one. It is Strawberry Romance X Empire of Dawn and Dusk, which has proven to be a very good cross for us.

I think I showed this one the other day, but it was very nice today. I wish the sepals weren't so long.It is Sihir X Colorful Chaos Nelli.

These are some of Bob's Fulva hybrids. This is F. Switzerland X Samsational. We are getting some brilliant oranges out of Samsational.

We noticed this one blooming on the compost pile so we moved it to the lineout bed. I think it is saying "I want to live". We don't know the parentage so we just call it Compost Baby.

Tropical Tease is a stunner, and I also like Raspberry Suede & Rainbow Antlers. Of the seedlings, F. Switzerland X Samsational is my favorite.

I think I first saw Celeste post Raspberry Suede-I was taken by how it did look like suede and purchased it shortly afterwards. I have been pleased that it does indeed look like suede! Samsational is sharing that in your face color it has through your seedlings.

I absolutely love F. Switzerland X Samsational..Strawberry Romance X Empire of Dawn and Dusk I see the dark purple eye with some faint reddish color on the eye of the dark eye. I've always wanted Reindeer Antlers when it was posted by Sherry or was it you Nancy. The red is so intense and with your heat it seems to hold up very good. Does it really get to 42" scape?
