We are building a custom home, and have run into a snag. Our sconce lights on either side of our split vanity mirrors (so 4 sconces total) just aren’t providing enough lighting.

We have considered adding more can lights, but we’re under a restricted deadline and because of the floor plan, that would require a fair amount of effort.

We have also considered adding a vanity light above each mirror. That would mean we’d each have a mirror, a vanity light, and two sconces over our sinks/cabinets. The width of each cabinet is approximately 65”, so we’ve got a good amount of space to light.

Would this look strange, though?

I’d sincerely appreciate any advice, tips, or other suggestions. Thanks!
