I tried that look and didnt like it-def to matchy for me and i didnt like the feel in the upstairs bedrooms.

I agree with previous posters that you shoud steer towards the squared off panels. Arched panels look more dated. I can see why you thought arches might add softness, and real arches are very much in fashion today - for example in range walls, bookcases and passage ways, but an arched "effect" isn't really in the same vein as true arched structures if that makes sense? I suggest adding softness in through rounded and curved stool backs in the kitchen or other nearby furniture - like a round coffee table, ottomans or even a curved sofa. Above the wainscoting in the entry way you can add a nice large round mirror to add some curves and a great way to reflect light back in to the room. Good Luck!

Square. In some homes, the arch looks fine, but from what I can in your home, you should go with square.

^^^Definitely. Square flat panel. Raised panel doesn't work with the wainscot or the rustic post & beam.

Square for sure. I don't even mind raised but never arched in 2022.
