Need help: Corridor mirror

Hi All
I’m having a dilemma. I think the mirror in my corridor doesn’t seem to look right (see picture A) - maybe too short or not hung high enough, or perhaps white frame is blending in with the walls. I’m considering getting a bigger mirror which would be taller and wider as shown in the markup (see picture B) and comes with an aluminium frame (see picture C and D)

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

If it's a basic hallway, I don't see a need to change it. I'm curious what else is around as to open room, loft, etc. and any features they might have that'd bear on the end of the hall...

End of the hall leads to master bedroom, study and guest bedrooms are on the side entrance of the hall

That's the kind of mirror you place on the back of a door to check your look. The size and the frame are not the right scale for a real wall mirror. Additionally, the quality of the glass is typically cheap and wonky so if you walk down the hallway looking at the mirror you might see a lot of distortion.

Place that mirror on the back of a door and create a more interesting arrangement of items at the end of your hallway.

A runner would be a nice addition. I'm older and cautious; if that's a staircase there, I wouldn't place a slip/slide any runner there [but a shorter runner, yes].

What's the height of the hall?

Rust -red is nice, and adds warmth.

Blue and all the white doors/ walls would be crisp and cool.

Thanks for the ideas, maybe I’ll just put a canvas art there instead of mirror. Will also consider suggestions for runner

If you really want a full length mirror, the frame could blend/match the style of the runner.

Or hang rectangular canvas art instead.

Seems a long hallway - to me, I'd like art that's seen well from down aways - of maybe a couple colors in simple, modern form., and the rug could be intricate more so.... or vice versa the other way around!?

i was going to suggest stacked artwork 16x16 or as large that will look correct. 3 stacked will emphasize the ceiling height and add a bit of color. The hallway leading to my bedroom has a wall (right to BR left to Bath) I painted that wall hale navy with large gold framed art and an art light that doubles as a night light. The mirror you had there did nothing for the space. If you would still like a mirror, Id get 3 and stack them, pretty frames are a plus.

I think keep looking until you find that perfect piece of art for there alot more impactful for an entry than a mirror that is only reflecting nothing worth seeing twice. I also think the art on the right is hung a bit high so just check that the center of the piece should be at eye level so 63-65 " from the floor . I would not do a long runner because with the stairs on the left at the back it will become a tripping hazard
