Flooring Design Dilemma

Considering using Stellar Flooring on the first floor of our home. Was going to use engineered oak, but now reconsidering. The Stellar flooring is solid 3/4" wood, floats, so, no gaps expanding or contracting. Also, the flooring clicks together, so no glue used, and no nailing. Plus, a single board can be removed and replaced easily.

I have no idea how solid woof flooring will not expand and contract it is the nature of wood flooring.

The complete floor as a unit will expand and contract without leaving cracks between the boards because it is floating and not secured.

I have a tough time buying that this system will be effective in the long term. Maybe just me but I am certain were it viable someone else would have done it long ago.
