    What alignment?

Why do you have brown tile and grey counter?

It is grey and green tile that goes with walls, countertops and floor. The light and mirror are the problem

    Tile

I do not see a light?

    There is the big space

Agreed with Ruth. Wrong mirror! Buy a large square mirror or rectangle to fill space, then use the right side of the counter top for something else with height. You’ll be fine.

A large square mirror will make it look intentional.

I have the same powder room. Had the sink offset to the left to give more counter space.

LIght is centered over countertop and mirror is centered over counter also. You need to hang the mirror the other way around centered or better still, buy a bigger mirror and center it over countertop. What would look better is a nicer light fixture.

    A larger mirror centered

A little bit bigger mirrorWith faucet centered would look better

Backsplash should match counters… not walls or floors…in a tiny space like this i would move towel rack elsewhere…in order to install a few shelves above the electrical outlet for all the products you have on the countertop….a new picture from further back to show the whole room may help with other ideas

wrong mirror. get a rectangle one to fill the space.

looks like you could also use some extra storage. this isn't difficult to do. (a small niche w/shelving)

I would do a smaller picture light (photo gallery light) then to the right you could do off set glass shelves and something tall on the counter top. (Keeping the mirror) or change the mirror to square

Move the mirror to the center of the fixture and call it a day if your looking for a cost effective approach. I am all about symmetry and offsets, in this case the vanity counter top sink would be centered considering such a small space if it was up to me.

I had the same issue an purchased what I have dubbed a "blob" mirror. This is a mirror that is not oval - it looks like a blob. Worked perfectly because it tricks the eye (or at least I tell myself that) check out West Elm mid-century asymmetrical wall mirror.

I have a very small bathroom and hated the sink centered in the old vanity because it left very little space on either side to set things. When we remodeled, we bought a vanity with a similar layout as yours. I’ll post a pic. I love having more space on one side. We put up a larger mirror, centered on the vanity itself, and also aligned the vanity light with the mirror over the vanity. I think it looks fine. A new larger mirror, centered on the vanity should make it look and feel much better. Good luck!

    Thank you!!

Dawn, I have to laugh. Its not just me. A drill on your bathroom vanity? Looks like my house. My husband sets tools wherever .... I hope you find the right stuff for your bathroom!

One large mirror works and makes it appear as a deliberate choice.

Off center can actually be functional with a smallish vanity as it enables one to have a larger run of contiguous counter as opposed to two small areas on other side.

Your tile in the bathroom and walls and countertop go so well together
